Share Our Strength

Have you ever noticed those bold words on our kid’s menu at First Watch? They’re a nod to our incredible partners at an organization called Share Our Strength. You see, we’ve proudly partnered with them for nearly a decade because we love the work they do in our communities. In fact, we love it so much that we decided to donate 25 cents from every kid’s meal sold at every First Watch restaurant to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, year round.

What’s the No Kid Hungry campaign? We’re so glad you asked. The folks over at Share Our Strength believe that no kid in America should go hungry, and we agree. More than 13 million children in the U.S. currently live in “food insecure” homes. That means those families do not regularly have enough food to eat, and children often go to school hungry.

Every time you bring your family to First Watch and order off the kid’s menu, you’re making a difference. To date, First Watch has donated more than $700,000 to No Kid Hungry, equating to more than 7 million meals for children. Every September, in addition to donating a portion of our kid’s menu sales to the cause, we are proud to participate in Dine Out for No Kid Hungry alongside our restaurant industry peers (check out the quick video below!) – but more on that later.

We have a long way to go, and we hope you’ll join us in the fight to end childhood hunger right here at home.
